AEC Industry invited to presentation on Research Findings
March 8-9, 2006 at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, Cambridge , MA

Harvard University recently completed a one-year study on The Value of Online Collaboration and Project Management (OCPM) technology in the AEC industry.

In an attempt to provide an objective and comprehensive study that validates and supports statements that OCPM technology will positively contribute to the return on investment of AEC industry stakeholders, the Harvard research team examined the true value of implementing OCPM technology within construction organizations.

In collaboration with sponsoring technology providers, the study identifies and measures the benefits of implementing and using technology. For more information on the event, visit http://www.gsd.harvard.edu/users/bbecerik/OCPM_Value/index.htm.

Manhattan Construction Company, Defense Intelligence Analysis Center and Kitchell Contractors, St. Joseph’s BNI Tower both participated in Harvard case studies focusing on the identification and measurement of the value of online collaboration and project management (OCPM) technology from a general contractor’s perspective. Both found the need for an OCPM solution and standardized on Meridian’s technology.
